SIGNIFICANT ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT
  • A new Postgraduate flagship Program named "Master Human Resource Management" has   been started from current academic session of 2010-2011. It is a two-year four - semester full-      time self - financing regular course. Components of training, research, seminar presentation,   Group Discussion, and viva-voce have been given due weightage for learning.
  • Overseas teaching assignment completed by one of the faculties Dr. J.K.Sharma in the Kingdom of  Saudi Arabia for one academic session (2009-2010).
  • Under the academic staff Orientation Scheme of the UGC a Refresher Course was organized by the Department on "Contemporary Managerial Challenges" in the last academic session of 2009-2010.
  • One of our faculty members Dr. J.K. Sharma was invited to deliver expert lectures on General Management at XLRI to the executives of ETA Star Group, Dubai (UAE) -A Multinational    Company (2007 and 2008).
  • One of our academic faculty members Dr. Rajan Handa has contributed as Subject Expert to prepare Twenty Five E-contents/E-Course produced by EMMRC Jodhpur under UGC- CECNME-ICT Project.
  • One of our academic faculty members Dr. M.L. Vasita has participated and presented paper on “An Exploratory Study to Measure Entrepreneurial Leadership Influence Tactics and Entrepreneurs’ Personality” in 4th International HR Conference on “Managing People Sustainability” held from January 18-20, 2012 at Bangkok, Thailand.
  • Work on UGC Major Research Project entitled "Talent Management Practices in Selected Higher Education Institutions of India and its impact on Academic Excellence" is completed and report has been submitted. Dr. S.P.S.Bhadu, Dy. Director, Academic Staff College, Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur acted as the principal investigator of the project.
  • UGC Major Research Project on "Need Identification for International Tourists Visiting India" has been completed and its Report has been submitted by Dr. S.C. Sharma who had voluntarily retired.
